Country EMC Approvals Worldwide

EMC testing for the electronics industry and the global marketplace is constantly changing, with the EU and WTO doing much to remove trade barriers, RN Electronics can offer EMC testing for most countries worldwide.

When importing electronic goods to the UK it is the legal requirement of the importer to maintain technical and test data for inspection by the authorities. Many goods are imported with a CE mark printed on the box but where little or no formal testing has been carried out. RN Electronics’ CE Marking consultants can advise you on the validity of any technical files and also advise on the level of EMC testing necessary in order to comply with EU regulations.

RN Electronics can undertake testing to all European Standards, BS EN, ETSI, CENELEC etc. As part of our service we will be pleased to advise on the standards applicable to your product.

We are FCC 2.948 listed registration number 735009 and UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 2360 for the US market, being able to test for all three authorisation procedures (Verification, Declaration of Conformity and Certification).  We can perform EMC and Radio tests to Industry Canada (IC) standards. Our OATS is also on file with the department, as required for certain radio equipment tests, IC Assigned Code 5612.

The Australasian market, recognise a large number of European Norms as equivalent to their own standards. Therefore as a UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 2360 our reports are also acceptable to the Australasian market, for 'C'-tick and the RCM.   

We are a Recognised Testing Agency RTA for the Office of the Telecommunications Authority of Hong Kong, OFTA. Our EMC test facility is also approved by the VCCI for Japan.
