On Saturday 10th July at 0943 UTC, an Amateur 10GHz Microwave link was established between Cape Verde Islands D44TXV (HK86NU) and Morocco CN2CT (IM52JH) first on CW 559/529 then voice SSB 55/55 the distance of the contact was 2201 km! This established a new world record.
