More on UKCA mark
The UKCA mark (UK Conformity Assessed), came into force on 1 January 2021 as a result of Brexit and is a compulsory mark for placing products on the Great Britain market, i.e. in England, Wales and Scotland. The UKCA mark applies to most products previously subject to CE marking.
The UK government has postponed the deadline for CE marking in Great Britain by one year to 1 January 2023, in a communication published on 24 August 2021. The transition from the Conformité Européenne, or CE, mark to the new United Kingdom Conformity Assessed (UKCA) mark was originally scheduled for the end of 2021.
