RN Electronics receives accreditation to Canadian ISED radio standards
RN Electronics, a leading wireless and EMC testing laboratory, have announced that they have received accreditation from the UKAS accreditation body for the following ISED standards:
RSS-119 (Land Mobile and Fixed Equipment operating in the 27 - 960 MHz Band)
RSS-130 (Equipment Operating in the 617 - 787 MHz Band)
RSS-131 (Zone enhancers, including Distributed Antenna Systems (DASs) and External Radio Frequency Power Amplifiers (ERFPAs), used in conjunction with licensed radio equipment in certain radio services)
RSS-132 (Cellular Telephone Systems operating in the 824 - 894 MHz Band)
RSS-133 (Personal Communications Services (PCS) in the 1850 - 1995 MHz Band)
RSS-139 (Wireless equipment operating in the Bands 1710 - 2180 MHz)
RSS-195 (Wireless equipment operating in the Bands 2305 - 2360 MHz)
RSS-199 (Broadband equipment operating in the Band 2500 - 2690 MHz)
Certain categories of wireless devices require ISED certification prior to placing them into the Canadian market place. Such equipment needs to be assessed to applicable ISED RSS standards and then the results (test reports) are submitted, along with other documentation such as schematic diagrams, bill of materials, user materials, etc. to a certification body for evaluation. RN Electronics is recognised as a Wireless Device Testing Laboratory by ISED and can support your certification.
